Resolution and streaming quality are entirely dependent on the speed of your internet connection and how the movie was compressed. Once set up, it s quick and easy to access your instant play list from the Blu-Ray player. It s a simple set up using your computer and the player. It s like Sony engineers have never heard of shuffle play.

I have the Samsung 50 inch 780p plasma and I think picture quality was superb. Without reading the instructions I had it installed and playing content from Amazon video on demand in 15 minutes. Having to turn on and off player and hostel 3 official trailer disc manually has been the only mechanical inconvenience, but happy with player otherwise. Having to go through Sony has been the problem. Netflix has been a problem so far, hostel 3 official trailer night I was able to stream a movie, but haven t been able to log in since. You can really see the difference with the big screen. Does fantastic blu ray with my 720p projector. This is a very nice player that works as described. I would recomment this unit in regard to quality pricing for all concerned.
I had gone HD-DVD 2 years ago even though the picture quality is comparable to blu ray the load times were ridiculous. The Sony unit is everything it was promised to be and more.
